Hey guys,
I know it's been a long time since I've last posted,but I was busy.
In the meantime I had university vacation, went to see the fam in the States, started university again and had a few decisions to make.
My vacation was awesome. It was so great seeing my family, especially my cousins, again. It was a great relief of all the stress I had writing those freaking papers and stress of my everyday life.
We flew to Los Angeles and went on to San Diego.
There we did a few obligatory family visits and a little sightseeing before we went to a gigantic roadtrip. We started off in San Diego on our way to Yosemite National Park. The park was really nice and the waterfalls were really spectacular. We stayed the night in Monterey and then went on to one of my favourite cities-San Francisco.I was just like I wanted it.We went on the Golden Gate Bridge and went to the Piers and ate there. It was so nice, too bad we couldn't stay longer. But that's ok,we saw a lot more.....
Then we stayed the night in Bakersfield, where the hotel was really nice and clean. After that we headed to Las Vegas....yes you heard right VIVA LAS VEGAS.There we finally could enjoy ourselves as over 21s.Me and my friend Jasmin walked up and down the strip...phew that was about 5 miles in total but it definitely was worth it!Without even being able to freshen up or to chillax,we and the cuzs went out for drinks.Dang,it was happy hour!!! Thank God, I ate buffet before that's why the alcohol didn't hit me that bad:) We had a lot of different stuff-Martinis,Gin Tonics, Wodka Tonics,Mojitos and Pineapple Malibus. We stayed the night in Luxor---yeehah!
Too bad we didn't get any tattoos or got married....as What Happens in Vegas,Stays in Vegas...
but oh well, there's always next time....haha jk!
After that we went to Utah to Bryce Canyon....we got to see a lot of nice rocks aka hoodoos....the view was just remarkable. Then we stayed the night in a strange hotel in Kanab, a little western like town which seemed very empty.
Then we headed off to Arizona to the Grand Canyon. It was not my first time there but every time I am always amazed of those big rocks and their formation.I think, everyone should at least seen this wonderful place once in his or her life!
We stayed in Arizona,to be precise in Sedona. Way cool place! I liked the red rocks and the flair of the cute little place.we stayed there for two nights.
Finally we headed to a little copy of Vegas-Laughlin, Nevada. It's way smaller than Vegas and it's the place for the oldies as the age average was probably 60+ and it smelled like smoke and catpiss everywhere, but it as well was a great experience!
Of course we headed back to San Diego...and spent the last 5 days effectively there. We celebrated Easter Sunday at Shelter Island with a egg hunt for the kids...hehe
We went shopping....probably the most important thing...haha
Jassi wanted to go to LA,but unfortunately it couldn't fit into our schedule. As all my relatives weren't able to drive us there and I was too scared to drive there myself.
I hope she's not to disappointed and anyway we need to save something for the next time :)
But I think my mom doesn't want me to take anyone with me anymore....dang! Oh well,we'll find a solution!
I had a great time as it definitely was a great distraction of all the not so pleasant things in life.
I hope I can return soon...(without problems at immigration)!
Thank You family for everything!!!
Stay tuned,
xoxo
