One more to go...

Hi guys,
me again. I know I haven't written lately but I had a lot of studying to do. Well, at least I pretended:) On Tuesday I had one super shitty exam. Technically it was easy, but I hate exams where you have to learn facts by heart and this one was one of these guys. "A Cultural History of the 18th Century" BUMMER. IHEW! I really hate history.
I really flunked, man. I need a miracle for it to be passed :S
Oh well, I might as well have to do it again.
LOL, I got back two exams. A- in Translation LOL And a B in Journalism and the funny thing is, I didn't even consider studying translation and journalism I studied half an hour before the exam on my way to university while sitting on the train LOL LOL LOL My fellow students got an A and are totally smug about it. (They always want to be better than me these nerds LOL ) But the ridiculous thing about it is, that these people have studied about a week before by learning everything by heart. So, who had maximal benefit?? i did cuz I hardly invested time in this dang thing. Had other things to care about....
These other guys flunked the history test too, but they have studied over 2 weeks earlier....Damn for them. I would deserve failing because I didn't put any effort in it...haha
And then today, 2 dang exams.
The first one was Business English for which I didn't have the motivation to study for. I just look at it once at lunch. My friends-totally nerdy- summarized everything and learned everything be heart. I did not even keep what I read. That test was so totally easy no second of studying was worth it. That thing is passed baby! It doesn't have to be an A though.
The second test today was the one I was most scared of. It was Semantics. Theoretically easy but a whole lot to study. I couldn't put myself together though and studied last minute (how could it possibly be different?!?!) MY fellow students have been making themselves crazy about it for like 4 effin weeks. Anyway, I just looked at it before the exam and was kind of scared I was going to fail. But it was easy, I pokered well. I had a suspicion of which questions would be asked and I was right.Didn't study one little bit too much. I've been doing this like for the last two semesters and went in to the exam without any clue. And both times I was the only student of the whole class (~100 students) to write a straight A muhahahaha. Even my professors told me in person and congratualted me. I have never expected this, I was glad just to pass the damn thing with a D!!! This exam today could be one of those although I'm sure that it won't be a straight A. Who cares anyway, the only thing that counts is, if it's passed or not. The only courses where the grades count are the graduate courses and I have till next semester....so bummer these stupid coincidences don't count :( They could be relevant for a scholarship but I'm not entitled to one anyway. So why study??!???!

Dang, I probably should become a PhD in Linguistics...and don't study and write straight As....that is so weird.

Anyway, one more exam to go. I won't even bother studying. I'll just do that tomorrow on the train.

Last Friday I had this so cool interview at this cool firm. I could definitely imagine working there-even after I graduate. I hope they accept me for this student job.

Another post tomorrow guys,
till then, stay tuned.
XOXO Gossip Girl (I'm so addicted to this series, I think I'll go on watching just now!:) )

I have a motivation problem until I have a time problem

Sheesh, what a day.
First I had to stay up until like 2am to finish the dang story for my journalism course. At least I got that done. Tomorrow exam and I so totally don't feel like studying. Actually I hate studying.
Then I had this interview this morning at the real estate firm downtown. I sounded good and I think they're very interested. I have computer know-how and I am flexible.
They couldn't tell me anything because the boss who hires is unfortunately sick.
Then I had university with an exam :( I hardly studied cuz I had to finish the dang story but I think it went quite well...but we'll see!
As I came home I went checking my emails and I got invited to another job interview. This time it was the Office for Economy of our federal state....yeehah!
I have to go there on Friday.I wonder what I will have to do there if I get accepted.
The days before were unspectacular. Just had a game and had to referee.
6 more exams until holiday, yay! And then its just like 6 weeks or so to CALIFORNIA!!
I just can't wait....
The course curriculum is out for literature and there's this cool Cultural Studies course:
City and Culture: American Dichotomies-New York and Los Angeles
and the way coolest thing about it: WITH EXCURSION but only for 10 students. Would be so cool if I was one of these 10....:)

What will I do on my holiday?
I hope I'll earn some money, so I can go
SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING!
I wanna go to Frisco and Vegas.
One day LA would be sweet too.
Anything else one can do???

Stay tuned guys,
Sanchia
